Throughout October and November, over 500 branded taxis made a huge impact in the centre of London, carrying the supaside and tip seat formats. Six separate creative executions were employed, featuring a range of stunning destinations:
So visible were the Mexico taxis that one might of thought that Mexico has sponsored the West End of London! The campaign was a perfect illustration of how taxis can dominate a city centre and work so effectively as part of an integrated marketing campaign, in this instance alongside presence at and sponsorship of World Travel Market. An added benefit was that the taxis were frequently used to transport journalists, Embassy staff and clients around the city.
In 2014, England accounted for 12% of leisure visitors to Mexico, and we hope that our work with the Tourism Board through this campaign will significantly increase this number in 2015!Back
