Game Insight, developer of Guns of Boom has used the first anniversary of the first person shooter game to announce an esports season and a London taxi campaign.

The online multiplayer first-person shooter video game "Guns of Boom" marked its first anniversary last month.

The game developer, Game Insight, used the anniversary to announce the game's first esports season. A prize pool of c£150,000 will see both North American and European teams initially compete through open cups.

Guns of Boom reached nearly 50 million players during its first year. To mark the anniversary and new competition, a London taxi campaign is launched with images taken alongside landmarks in the capital.
